Dear Colleague,

Our VII International Conference on Novel Psychoactive Substances has been reallocated from Washington DC to Rome and will take place on 18 -19 November 2020. The event will also be streamed online.
There will be a limited number of tickets and we strongly recommend you book your place at your earliest convenience should you wish to attend in person. Presenters are also warmly welcome to submit their abstracts by Monday 27th July.
We will closely monitor developments, prioritise the safety of all participants and staff by following advice from relevant authorities. The conference committee is prepared to change the conference into an entirely virtual (online) event if needed. In this case, the conference date and programme will remain the same. If you cannot attend the conference for Covid-19 reasons, you will get a full refund of the registration fee or you can choose video presentation.
We firmly believe the importance of disseminating evidence-based information and promoting intersectoral partnerships in the field of novel psychoactive substances and related mental health issues remains paramount, especially in times of crisis. Now more than ever, new forms of partnership working and learning from each other’s experiences are needed, and the International Society for the Study of Emergent Drugs (ISSED) provides a new platform for exchange on the most pressing issues and we count on your participation.
It would be highly appreciated if you could forward this conference information to your colleagues or friends working in the field.
Wishing you all the best and we look forward to seeing you in Rome.
