Project Description

John Corkery has been working with drug-related epidemiological datasets and research for the last 30 years, specialising in drug-related mortality (DRM) and latterly NPS. He was the UK Focal Point expert on DRM from 2000 to 2015. He is currently a member of the the NPS and Technical Committes and the Drug-related Deaths Working Group of the UK’s Advisory Council on the Misuzse of Drugs. He has published widely both on substances of Abuse as well as criminological matters. He has also given many guest lectures and oral presentations, locally, nationally and internationally.
